Goals: Get back in to competing and be ranked among the top 5 on wave riding. I want to push myself and be the best I can be with a good team supporting me. If kiting ever gets to be in the Olympics, I want to represent my country and get a medal.

I´m Dominican, born and raised, in a family of 7 siblings and limited funds. How I started kiting was a lucky break for me. When I was 14 years old I was hanging out at the beach with my friend Jan Marcos Riveras and we saw this guy on his way to a kiting competition.
We went to check it out and we offered to help the guy out with his equipment.
I guess we seemed eager, because after the competition the guy approached us, asking if we were interested in learning how to kite. And of course, we said yes.
He had a spare kite he did not use which he gave us to share.
Safe to say; we haven’t stopped kiting since.
